The South Holston and Watauga Rivers are located in Tennessee. You will need the appropriate fishing license, one that includes (All Species) as you will be fishing for trout. After you have opened an account, you may consider options and purchase your license online at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency

Weather conditions on the river may vary considerably depending on the season (Charlie fishes year round). At any time of the year the weather may change in an instant. Please consider that you may be in or out of the sun for the entirety of your trip. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are recommended. Please bring appropriate clothing options to keep yourself comfortable and dry. Check current weather conditions in our area here

Your boat will have a cooler full of ice and bottled water. You will need to bring any other drinks, food or snacks your party may require. Be aware there are not many amenities near the river put in. Please be prepared before you arrive for your trip.

A first aid kit is always on board and available. Please keep in mind your individual wellness needs.

When it’s time to fish, you need not worry about anything. Charlie will provide all the gear, including rods and tackle, for an enjoyable and successful day on the water. Your guide is very experienced and is a great teacher. You fish and he takes care of the rest! From rigging to netting and everything in between, Mr. Parker is an experienced professional. Let him put you on the fish.
